As a part of a short workshop, I was asked to make a 1 minute long film containing the number 8, relating in some way to the concept of my graduation project (which was at this stage only in a research phase). In the movie, I edit a self-composed assessment-form from Design Academy Eindhoven while a reconstructed mash-up of recorded feedback from department-head Louise Schouwenberg is playing in the background. The scale, which in reality ends on the number 5 is extended to 8. This short but effective exercise became a turning point in the conceptualization of my graduation project.
