Mono-Maren describes the overall perspective where I operate as my genuine self. This includes several autonomous projects, commissioned work, participation in collectives and ensembles, consulting and tutoring. Multi-Maren describes the various practitioner-identities I take on. Through the enactment of these fictive narratives, I am able to experiment with materials, techniques and topics within what feels like a safe framework. Meta-Maren contextualises the research performed by Mono-Maren, and the artistic projects executed by the Multi-Maren(s). Meta-Maren is the methodology that works like a testing ground or a microsystem where I can practice and prepare to participate in the real-life creative field.
